01Avalanche is a network of chains
Avalanche is a smart contract network built around one idea: any organization can launch its own chain, called an L1, and set its own rules for who validates, who can access it and how fees work. The public C-Chain sits alongside hundreds of these L1s, and assets can move between them.
That design is why so many institutions use it. A bank, an exchange or a government agency can run a permissioned chain it controls and still connect to the public network's liquidity.
As the Tokenization Lead at Ava Labs Olivia Vande Woude puts it:
“Tokenization puts an asset onchain, but utility is what gives it a market. Assets need to function as collateral, flow into lending markets and move through payment systems. Avalanche already supports 1,255 tokenized RWAs representing more than $13 billion in distributed and represented value, including approximately $484 million in BlackRock’s BUIDL. The bigger opportunity is putting those assets to work. Avalanche gives institutions customization without isolation. They can build environments around their regulatory and operational requirements while remaining connected to stablecoins, credit markets, applications and buyers across the broader network. Aave’s planned V4 RWA Hub, multi-currency stablecoins and allocators like Grove, with more than $250 million deployed, are building those distribution channels. This is what invisible adoption looks like. Businesses and consumers gain access to faster payments, productive collateral and deeper credit without needing to think about the blockchain infrastructure underneath.”
02Avalanche holds $1.73 billion in distributed RWAs, held in very few wallets
Distributed RWAs on Avalanche stood at $1.73 billion as of October 12, up 2.17% over 30 days, according to rwa.xyz. They are spread across 1,255 assets and 10,058 holder addresses. Represented assets reach $11.40 billion, but one copper-gold token, AZX1, accounts for $10.7 billion of that from a single wallet, as Bitquery has documented.
The four largest distributed products, BUIDL (BlackRock) at $483.5 million, SECZ at $355.6 million, the tradable part of DOM X's AZX1 copper-gold token at $334.4 million and JAAA at $263.0 million, hold $1.44 billion between them, 83% of the total, across 64 wallets, according to rwa.xyz.

03Treasuries quadrupled this year, and stocks led every chain
Tokenized U.S. Treasuries on Avalanche reached $545 million, "up 4x this year" and up 14% in Q3, according to Avalanche. rwa.xyz counts $518 million across BUIDL and BENJI alone.
Tokenized stocks grew faster on Avalanche than on any other chain in September, adding $245.5 million, according to the RWA Foundation and Token Terminal. Stocks on the chain stand at $355.6 million (+67.1%) on Token Terminal.

04Credit is the fastest-growing use
Onchain loan volume on Avalanche reached a record $37.4 million in Q3, up 34% over the prior quarter, per Crypto Briefing. Token Terminal puts app TVL at $3.5 billion across 31 apps, with RWA issuers at 37.3%, stablecoin issuers at 25.8% and lending at 19.0%. DefiLlama, which leaves RWA issuers out, counts $644.7 million in DeFi TVL.

05Dollars move on Avalanche at scale
Stablecoins on Avalanche stand at $1.39 billion on DefiLlama, $919.5 million on Token Terminal and $886.9 million on rwa.xyz. The sources define stablecoins differently, but all three agree on the order of magnitude. USDC alone has 1.42 million holder addresses, and USDT has 1.19 million.
Liquidity reaches the chain through the largest exchanges, including @binance, @Bybit_Official, @okx, @bitget, @kucoincom and @krakenfx, which together hold hundreds of millions of dollars in Avalanche reserves on DefiLlama. In September, Avalanche formed the Payments Collective, 28 founding members serving payment flows across more than 150 countries and 96 currencies.

06Governments use Avalanche for records, not securities
Some of the largest deployments on Avalanche never show up in RWA data. California's DMV put 42 million car titles on its own Avalanche chain. The UAE is moving the UAEPASS Digital Vault, used by 12.5 million people, to a dedicated L1. Wyoming launched FRNT, the first U.S. state-issued stablecoin, which can be spent on Avalanche through a Visa card. These are public records and public money rather than investable assets, which is why they sit outside the market cap figures.

@Securitize is the largest RWA platform on Avalanche, with $879.0 million in assets according to rwa.xyz. That is about half of all distributed RWAs on the chain. Its Avalanche assets rose 628% to $770 million by mid-September.
Securitize issues BlackRock's BUIDL on Avalanche, and in July it put its own stock onchain. SECZ now stands at $355.6 million across 22 wallets, matching Avalanche's entire tokenized stock market cap on Token Terminal. In March 2026, Securitize also signed an MOU to be the first digital transfer agent on NYSE's upcoming Digital Trading Platform.
Founder and CEO Carlos Domingo explained the choice when Securitize launched the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund on Avalanche. It shows "public blockchain infrastructure supporting regulated investment products at the speed, reliability, and scale institutional markets require," he said. "We expect the fund to help open the door to a much broader range of assets moving onchain."
Carlos says the relationship goes beyond a single fund:
Carlos Domingo, Co-Founder & CEO, Securitize“We’re proud of what we’ve built with Avalanche and grateful for a partnership that has helped bring real investments onchain. Institutions need the controls to meet their obligations and the connectivity to make those assets useful. Avalanche brings those priorities together, and we’re excited to keep building on that foundation.”

07Dinari
@DinariGlobal issues dShares, tokenized U.S. stocks backed 1:1 by shares held with licensed custodians, and Avalanche sits at the center of its setup. In August 2025, it launched the Dinari Financial Network, its own Avalanche L1 for issuing, settling and moving tokenized equities across chains.
In June 2026, Dinari brought its full catalog of more than 350 dShares, including stocks, ETFs and REITs, to the C-Chain for eligible investors outside the U.S. rwa.xyz now tracks 722 dShares on Avalanche.
"Avalanche has been an important partner in that effort, from powering DFN to now supporting direct access to dShares on C-Chain," said CEO and co-founder @GabeOtte in Dinari's announcement.
Dinari is a member of the RWA Foundation.

08Aave and Tether
@aave is the largest app on Avalanche, at $572.3 million in TVL on Token Terminal. On DefiLlama, Aave V3 holds $348.3 million on the chain and V4, live since July, holds $32.9 million.
Its next step on Avalanche is a forthcoming RWA Hub, the first in Aave V4. "Aave V4's first RWA Hub is coming to @avax, a dedicated credit market where institutions can borrow against RWAs," Aave posted on September 16. Institutions would post tokenized assets as collateral and borrow dollars.
Those dollars would come from @tether's federally regulated stablecoin, USA₮, issued by Anchorage Digital Bank. Tether already has $304.3 million in USDT on Avalanche across 1.19 million holder addresses, per rwa.xyz. The hub and the USA₮ listing still require Aave DAO votes, and the launch date and collateral list have not been announced.

09BlackRock
@BlackRock's BUIDL is the largest tokenized Treasury fund on Avalanche, at $483.5 million according to rwa.xyz. That is about 89% of the $545 million in tokenized Treasuries Avalanche reports, held in six wallets.
BUIDL's Avalanche balance more than doubled in July on a single mint, then fell 47% on redemptions, per Bitquery. Movements of that size from a handful of holders show how much of Avalanche's Treasury growth comes from a few institutional allocators.
10Circle
@circle's USDC is the most widely held asset on Avalanche, with $435.1 million across 1.42 million holder addresses on rwa.xyz. That one asset has more holders than every tokenized fund and stock on the chain combined, about 141 times the 10,058 RWA holders.
USDC is the base dollar for most Avalanche apps and for the Payments Collective, so much of the activity described in this report settles in it.
11VanEck
@vaneck_us brought VBILL, its tokenized Treasury fund, to Avalanche and is a founding member of the Payments Collective. Avalanche presents VBILL and Franklin Templeton's BENJI as regulated Treasury funds that payment companies can hold until a settlement is due.
The fit is treasury management. Payment firms holding idle balances on Avalanche can keep them in a regulated fund rather than in cash.
12Hashfire
@hashfirexyz finances receivables owed by the U.S. government, and every part of it runs on Avalanche. On September 3, it "cleared $1,304,081 in US Treasury-backed collections, our largest single day yet," Hashfire posted. Federal contractors get paid on day one, and allocators earn yield on government-backed credit.
Founder and CEO @JohnBelitsky says the whole program is onchain, not just the yield: "Every document, dollar, transaction, approval, counterparty and the real-time asset condition is fully onchain," he wrote. Hashfire put it more briefly: "This is the canonical asset… On @avax."
Hashfire's first public pilot was with Wyoming in July 2025, when the state paid a contractor in seconds instead of 45 days using its stablecoin. Belitsky is now pitching governments on real-time auditable budgets and instant vendor settlement.

13Centrifuge
@centrifuge brought two of the largest asset managers to Avalanche. Janus Henderson's AAA CLO fund, JAAA, stands at $263.0 million on rwa.xyz, making it the fourth-largest distributed product on the chain. It is held in three wallets.
In September, New York Life Investment Management launched its first tokenized fund, a high-yield bond strategy, on Avalanche through Centrifuge. Credit partnerships like these helped drive Avalanche's record Q3 loan volume.
14Midas
@MidasRWA brought two institutional strategies to Avalanche in September. mWIN tracks a Wellington Management multi-sector fixed-income portfolio, and mGLOBAL tracks Fasanara Capital's alternative debt strategy. Wellington manages more than $1.3 trillion, though that money has not moved onto Avalanche.
At launch, Midas noted that Avalanche held more than $2 billion in tokenized assets. The two products are not yet listed on rwa.xyz.
15Plume
@plumenetwork brought nOPAL to Avalanche in July. The vault, issued by BlackOpal, holds Brazilian credit card receivables hedged against currency risk, with yields in the 8% to 12% range. Plume Vaults hold $5.3 million on Avalanche on DefiLlama, next to about $42.7 million in nOPAL on Plume's own chain.
Plume cited Avalanche's "deterministic finality, high throughput, predictable fees, and EVM compatibility," and a "rapidly expanding pipeline across Latin America," in its announcement. nOPAL is one of the first emerging-market credit products on the chain.
Plume says the point is who gets access:
Teddy Pornprinya, CBO & Co-Founder, Plume“Brazilian credit card receivables have traditionally been a trade only institutions could make. nOPAL changes who gets to make it. Avalanche has built one of the strongest ecosystems for tokenized private credit, so bringing nOPAL there puts real-world credit in front of institutional capital and everyday onchain allocators alike. That’s exactly what Open Finance should do.”
16Ethena Pay
@EthenaPay is a global neobank from @ethena, built exclusively on Avalanche. It combines digital dollars, payments, savings and settlement in a single app.
Ethena is also a founding member of the Payments Collective. Ethena Pay is the clearest consumer-facing product among the builders in this report.
17Balcony
@balconytech is digitizing Bergen County, New Jersey's land records on its own Avalanche L1. The program covers 370,000 parcels worth about $240 billion across 70 municipalities, under a five-year contract.
None of it appears in RWA market data, because deeds are records rather than securities. By value, it is still the largest real estate program on the chain.
18Grove
@grovedotfinance is the largest credit allocator on Avalanche, with $263.0 million in TVL on DefiLlama. It has deployed about $250 million into RWAs on the chain and anchored Galaxy's first tokenized CLO with a $50 million allocation.
Grove sits on both sides of the market. It supplies capital to tokenized credit and is a member of the Payments Collective's asset management layer.

19More builders on Avalanche

- Cashlink expanded its securities tokenization infrastructure to Avalanche.

20Conclusion
Avalanche's RWA growth is concentrated. A few issuers, led by Securitize, BlackRock, Circle and Tether, account for most of the value, and their products sit in a small number of wallets.
The builders differ more than the numbers suggest. Some issue funds, some lend against them, some move dollars and some run their own chains. What they share is the ability to set their own rules while staying connected to the public network.
Avalanche, Token Terminal and Securitize are proud members of RWA Foundation but have no influence on the opinions of this report. This report is for informational purposes only and is not investment advice.
